A totem is my way of presenting a multi-stone option of complimentary gemstones hanging from a pop of hammered 18k gold. Each is unique and one of a kind, varying shapes and colors provide an expression of brilliance and balance. Stones are set in 22k or 18k gold to highlight the quality of the stones and create a great play in contrast with the oxidized sterling silver accents.
A totem is said to be an emblem of symbolic importance, one that is revered for its energy and expression, these necklaces are just that.
This totem necklace features an Australian boulder opal set in 18k gold hanging from a lovely pear shaped, rose cut tanzanite also set in 18k gold. With an 18k hammered paperclip connection and sterling silver backs. The fiery flashes of aquas, greens and brilliance in this opal are magnificent!
