Gold was revered and known to be an amuletic form of protection worn on the neck, wrist or head. Along with these attributes the contrast between the oxidized silver in this necklace allows the gold to create a brilliant contrast.
The multi-strand silver necklace with randomly placed 18k gold paperclip links sports a thick bar and chain closure. This choker/collar style necklace can be worn at several different lengths as well as twisted to create a rope effect.
