As with most Turquoise mines the 7D mine in Candelaria Hills (Nevada) is no longer producing material. What is in the hands of the skilled lapidaries is all that will ever be. This remarkable material has lovely green and soft pale blues with lines of matrix that make it most intersting. Thick and chunky, solid and unbacked these stones are true stunners. Turquoise is one of the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong energy. Truly one of my favorite materials!
It's built from sterling silver that I shape and pattern with my antique hammers. The result is a softly textured surface on both the face of the ring and hammered wide shank that complements this magnificent stone. Finished with an oxidized patina and a hand polish this ring resonates my authentic, organic style. One of a kind, no sizing available.
